PBN - INKREASE |Interregional meeting in Hungary
Pannon Business Network organized the 5th interregional INKREASE project meeting in Sárvár, Hungary. 22 Project Partners, Stakeholders and invited Speakers took part in the interregional event.
After the morning session where the partners discussed the technical implementation and the project management issues the interregional session stated with the focus on “Business and Academia in industry 4.0 in Hungary”.
In his introductory part the managing director of Pannon Business Network Mr. Balázs Barta provided a slight overview about the investments in Hungary in the recent decade and the economic development process of Vas Country – the hosting region of the interregional event.
As a second part of the workshop Mrs Lilian Csintalan strategic planning and evaluation officer of the Ministry for National Economy Hungary, Department of Territorial Development Planning presented examples for research and development cooperations in Hungary through the experiences of relevant European Territorial Cooperation programs – CE, INTERREG EUROPE and Danube Transnational Program.
As the third part of the event Professor Ákos Péter Bod from the CORVINUS University Budapest invited the participants to have a deep insight into the economic and social changes of global and Hungarian trends, into innovation challenges, digital economy and society, integrity challenges on EU level, and the readiness for industry 4.0.
Mr. Tivadar Máhr representing the Pannon University and the City of Sárvár explained the main processes of the university connected to industry 4.0 in education and in the cooperation with small and medium sized enterprises.
As the closure of the event Mr. Balázs Barta introduced the concept and services of the so called HGC Academy developing 300 high growth companies of Hungary, the development of AM LAB and the coordinative and supportive role of Pannon Business Network in the regional economy.
After the interregional session on DAY2 of the INRKREASE interregional partner meeting the participants took part on peer review of the Good Practice “Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network” in the presentation of Mrs. Maria Grazia ZUCCHINI and Mr. Giorgio MORETTI from project partner ASTER. The project partners had possibility to ask for all details of history, financing, tasks and development of the “Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network” program.
After the peer review session the participants were invited to the newly established site of amLAB in Szombathely, at the headquarters of Pannon Business Network. As an introductory part Mr. Balázs Barta provided a detailed presentation about the idea and scope of amLAB, the multidisciplinary organisation, the main international learnings made, the services developed, the technological background and the new product concepts. After this the participants were invited to study the operation of the different amLAB technological equipments.
After the amLAB visit the participants were awaited to a light lunch by the company of FACLO Kronospan. After the short networking the representative of the company Mr. Tamás Kovács introduced the participants the history, the main services and products of the company, their cooperation in R&D activities and the active contribution to target education. On the same time he presented the established FALCO wood cluster. After the presentation the delegation had the possibility to take part on a 2-hour factory visit in form of a guiding tour, by following the production processes of the presented products, to see examples for automatization.
