PBN - 4th SOLEZ project meeting in Sárvár

The 4th SOLEZ partner meeting and Mid-term review meeting took place between 12th-14th March 2018 in Sárvár, hosted by SOLEZ project partner Pannon Business Network Association. During the 3-day-long meeting, SOLEZ partners and a representative from the Joint Secretariat discussed the already carried out activities as well as the envisaged tasks of the project.

On the one hand, the transnational meeting focused on the Action Plans, elaborated in each Functional Urban Area (FUA) of the project in connection with sustainable mobility solutions.

On the other hand, in the second half of the partner meeting, three parallel sessions of working groups for pilot implementations were organized.  The main focus of the first group was to provide smart parking solutions, the second group intends to actualize ICT-based Value-Added Activities, whereas the third group concentrated on bus transport electrification.

Each planned pilot solution will be implemented in autumn 2018 and they contribute to low-carbon mobility policies, therefore they will meet the SOLEZ project’s main expectations.

Regarding Sárvár FUA, they are planning an ICT-based smartphone application which will provide integrated information about all available sustainable mobility modes in the area.

This application, besides sustainable mobility, is aiming tourism and catering area too, because Sárvár FUA is a popular touristic destination among Hungarian and foreign guests as well.
